What is Good Corporate Governance Amid Regulatory Uncertainty?
Where do we want to be?
What metrics should investors/consumers look for?
Good governance remains one of the most important mechanisms to ensure a company is working well. We’re in a time when federal regulations are being pulled back – or even eliminated – highlighting the important role of corporate governance. Climate change, occupational health and safety, and employment protections all remain financial risks to companies, but without regulatory guardrails, how do businesses protect themselves and best represent their stakeholders?
How should businesses respond? What defines good corporate governance in the current environment? What is it that we’re trying to achieve? And what should investors and consumers be looking for?
Our Fall 2025 Workshop will convene industry leaders, academics, and students to delve into these questions. We’ll be hosting individual talks, a panel of experts – with audience Q&A – and small discussion groups among attendees.
Speakers include Allison Herren Lee, Renee Jones, & Granville Martin.
