Life Skills Offerings
The BU Hub aims to develop personal qualities such as self-reliance, resilience, self-discipline, reflectiveness, and self-awareness in all students. To support students in developing these attributes, the BU Hub makes available a variety of Life Skills offerings that foster these qualities while preparing students for college and post-college life.
Many students will have initial opportunities to begin developing Life Skills as part of their orientation to the University and to their respective schools and colleges. After these introductory experiences, students will choose those Life Skills courses, workshops, and activities that will best support their personal growth during their time at BU. While not required of students, these Life Skills offerings can play a crucial role in orienting you to the University, nurturing your sense of well being, and readying you for the future.
Note: The roster of Life Skills offerings below is updated regularly as new courses, workshops, and activities are developed for the Life Skills area.
