BU Hub Updates to Materials & Processes

October 27, 2017:

In response to feedback and questions from faculty, the BU Hub team has made the following updates to materials and processes:

1. The Center for Teaching and Learning has updated their Syllabus Template to better help faculty frame their courses for inclusion in the Hub curriculum. The CTL is also creating a set of guides for developing courses that address the Toolkit areas, which will be posted on their website soon.
2. Improved website navigation: you can now easily access the CourseLeaf dashboard, guidelines from the GEC, and an overview of the approval process without having to navigate the full Faculty Guide.
3. The General Education Committee has updated their Guidelines for Proposers, and is in the process of creating a series of Interpretive Documents that describe the committee’s interpretation of Hub Learning Outcomes and policies about which there have been questions. You can also now find excerpts from exemplary approved proposals on the Hub website.
