Apply to BU Global House for AY 2021-22

Did you know that BU Global House is a great place for undergraduate students to further refine language skills, meet students from many different cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and take charge of their own cultural education through weekly meetings, cultural events, and communal living?  Eligible students must be rising sophomores or above and have completed the second semester of language study (or equivalent proficiency).  Advanced and native speakers are also strongly encouraged to apply!

Global House offer language clusters for Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.  The Global House living-learning community is located on the 4th floor of 610 Beacon St. (Myles Standish Hall).  Global House welcomes students from all majors and all colleges within BU.

Global House also offers a HUB cocurricular experience.  Students who reside in Global House for two semesters and successfully complete the Global House cocurricular program will earn 1 Hub unit in either Global Citizenship and Intercultural Literacy OR in The Individual in Community.  Students may only earn one 1 Hub unit through Global House.
