Leo graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Law, History, and Culture and a minor in Narrative Structure in 2021. His thesis, “No Peine No Geine: A Speculative Exploration of the Early Development of Peine Forte et Dure” was focused on the 13th and 14th century development of slow crushing as the consent-inducing mechanism for the early English jury. Leo began his JD at Boston University in 2022, and entered the JD/MA dual degree program in 2023, where he continues to be interested in English medieval law, as well as modern theories of jurisprudence and constitutional interpretation.
