History PhD Zach Fredman Awarded Coffman First-Manuscript Prize
BU History PhD Zach Fredman has won the prestigious Coffman First-Manuscript Prize from the Society for Military History for his dissertation “From Allies to Occupiers: Living with the U.S. Military in Wartime China.” Zach has also received a postdoctoral fellowship to spend the 2017-2018 academic year at Dartmouth’s John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding.
