Grad student Lilly Havstad Recipient of Dorothy Rosenberg Phi Beta Kappa Annual Meeting Graduate Fellowship
Congratulations to Lilly Havstad, one of three recipients of this year’s Dorothy Rosenberg Phi Beta Kappa Annual Meeting Graduate Fellowship. The fellowship program was established to help defray the travel costs incurred by graduate students presenting their research at the American Historical Association’s Annual Meeting (this year to be held in Atlanta, GA – Jan. 7-10, 2016). Lilly’s was one of the three proposals selected for this year’s travel subsidy, for her paper “‘E Nossa Comida’: Food, Cultural Hybridity, and Mobility in Maputo, Mozambique,” on the session City Food: Mobile People in the Urban Foodscapes of Brazil, Canada, and Mozambique.
