PhD Student Elizabeth Grumer Presented Prize Winning Paper at UMD
History PhD candidate Elizabeth Grumer presented a paper at the University of Maryland History Graduate Student Association Conference at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her paper studies the reincarnation craze in American popular culture during the 1950s, linking the phenomenon to contemporaneous ideas about historical memory and gender identity. It was awarded the UMD HGSA Conference Best Paper Prize.
