BU Ph.D. Katie Brownell, currently Assistant Professor of History at Purdue University, appeared on the July 19, 2016 episode of “Back Story with the American History Guys,” the nationally syndicated public radio program and podcast. Assessing the fraught relationships between presidents and the press, a special live taping of the show at George Washington University featured Brownell along with Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post reporter Carol Leonnig.
