Economics Writing Tutors
Beginning Fall 2023, The Department of Economics has partnered with the CAS Writing Program to provide students the opportunity to visit with an undergraduate peer writing tutor. Our Economics Tutors are here to help with writing assignments from all undergraduate Economics courses, and are available for anyone enrolled in them.

Tutoring sessions for the Fall 2025 semester will be offered both remotely and in-person. See the tutor profiles below for more info.
We encourage students to share the assignment prompt with the writing tutor to make sure they are clear about the specific writing issues or subject knowledge for which they need help.
Our Tutors & Tutoring Schedule
Jack Murray
(he/him)
Jack is an economics major with a strong interest in how data and analysis shape real-world decision-making. He enjoys writing as a way to clarify ideas and connect complex concepts with broader audiences. Outside the classroom, Jack plays club basketball and chess, which challenge him both physically and strategically. He values teamwork, problem-solving, and clear communication, traits that guide his academic and personal pursuits.
Hours:

Micah Rysman
(he/him)
Micah is a senior studying economics with minors in data science and business. He is from Brookline and loves the local Boston sports teams. He is currently completing an honors thesis on sports gambling’s effect on ticket prices. Micah is a big fan of spending time outdoors with his family and friends.
