The Department of Economics maintains several study spaces in its building for graduate students.

Computer Labs and Collaborative Spaces

Rooms 525 and 540 are set up as computer labs. Each room has several computers in them, outfitted with Stata and ArcGIS and several other useful programs. The labs also have several spaces with peripheral stations, which are hubs with full-sized keyboards and monitors that you can plug your laptop into, and several empty seats if you would like to use your laptop directly. Each room has a printer as well.

Room 523 is set up for collaboration with a large table and several whiteboards.

Rooms 523, 525, and 540 have card-swipes on them so only PhD and MA students from the Economics Department may use these rooms. The rooms are for walk-in use – they cannot be reserved.

Room Reservations

If you would like to book a room for a study group or reading group, you can book 318, 413, or 546 any time they are free. Room 315 can only be booked with special permission.
