Santiago Franco is a macroeconomist interested in spatial economics, productivity, and economic growth. His recent research investigates differences in output market power across U.S. cities and how they lead firms to locate inefficiently across space. He is also working on how informal labor markets affect human capital accumulation and economic growth in developing economies.
