Hanna Schwank is a PhD candidate in Economics at Boston University. She works on various topics in labor economics and economic history, including the returns to internal migration and the determinants of female labor force participation. Hanna holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Public Economics from Free University Berlin. Before coming to BU, she worked as a research assistant at the German Institute of Economics Research (DIW) Berlin.
