2019 Junior Faculty Recruiting News!
The Department of Economics is pleased to introduce our two new Assistant Professors:
Yuhei Miyauchi received an MA in Economics and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from The University of Tokyo and a PhD from MIT. Yuhei is a trade economist with a broad set of skills and research interests, ranging from urban economics and development to the econometrics of networks. Yuhei joins our faculty after a postdoctoral year at Stanford University.
Linh Tô received her BA in Mathematics and Economics from Macalester College and her PhD in Economics from Harvard University. Her research is in empirical microeconomics, with particular interests in labor economics, public economics, and behavioral economics. She has written on the labor market impact of maternity leave policies and on labor supply decisions by taxi drivers.
