Central Square Theater

I worked in the Education division of this company several years ago and remain a frequent audience member. Both resident companies (The Nora and Underground Railway Theater) have solid mission statements that they appear truly committed to enacting. Every show is high quality and engaging, and I find that the ticket prices tend to be more affordable than some other local professional companies. The executive director as well as the artistic directors of both companies are women. The facility has elevators and wheelchair access, non-gendered restrooms, and ASL and low-sensory performances are often made available.
