2024-25 Learn More Series Theme: Indigeneity (Extended)

Boston University Diversity & Inclusion (BU D&I) is proud to extend last year’s Learn More Series theme, Indigenous Identities, and Experiences, into the 24-25 academic year! 

Each year, we dedicate ourselves to examining a single topic of social importance through our Learn More Series. This signature series invites us to stand in solidarity with underrepresented and historically marginalized communities and challenges us to better understand the history and lived experience of these communities in their full complexity. The series has evolved to include nationally renowned speakers, workshops, panel discussions, art installations, film screenings, community read-alouds, and many other components. 

Another key component of the series? YOU! BU Diversity & Inclusion offers grant funding to support faculty, staff, and students in creating community, building capacity, and exploring research related to each year’s theme. This year, the Learn More Series has two grant funding categories: Community Grants (for faculty, staff, and students) and Research Grants (for faculty of any type).
