Professional Ceremony
Each year, GSDM hosts a professional ceremony, a celebration of dedication, achievement, and the commencement of a promising professional journey for our newest predoctoral dental students. This year, we are excited to welcome the DMD Class of 2030 and the DMD Advanced Standing Class of 2028 to the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

What time do doors open for the event?
What if a student would like to bring more than two guests?
At this time, we are not accepting additional ticket requests. We invite your additional friends & family to view the ceremony via livestream.
Do children require a ticket?
Children are welcome at the event! If a child will be occupying their own seat, they will need a ticket. However, infants in strollers or small children sitting on a guest’s lap who are not using a seat do not require a ticket.
My friend is not using all of their tickets, can I use theirs?
Yes. Each ticket has it’s own unique QR code, so your friend can forward you one of their unused tickets via email.
Are walk ins allowed?
Walk-ins will not be permitted as we cannot accommodate any extra guests on the day of the event. If you do not have a ticket, you are not able to attend the event.
If I am driving, where can I park?
Visitor parking is available at the 710 Garage at 710 Albany Street. The rate is $20 max for more than 4 hours of parking. Albany Street and it’s side streets have meters as well.
Are there seating arrangements?
The ceremony is open seating.
Will there be food arrangements?
Their will be a reception immediately following the ceremony with light refreshments & snacks until 3:30pm. All major allergies / dietary restrictions will be accounted for (gluten free, vegetarian, vegan).
