Monique Mabry, DMD, MFAA
Dr. Monique Mabry, DMD, a graduate of the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, brings over 15 years of clinical expertise in facial aesthetics and cosmetic injectables. As the founder and director of the Mabry Facial Aesthetics Academy (MFAA) in Newton, MA, she leads hands-on continuing education for medical and dental professionals. Her curriculum bridges theoretical knowledge and practical execution; focusing on clinical anatomy, pharmacology, safety protocols, and live-patient injection techniques to help clinicians safely integrate aesthetic procedures into their practice.
Overview
The Mabry Facial Aesthetics Academy (MFAA) Beginner Botulinum Toxin & Dermal Filler Training Course is a comprehensive continuing education program for medical and dental clinicians.
Participants must complete a self-paced online didactic module covering facial anatomy, injectable pharmacology, safety protocols, and patient assessment prior to attending the scheduled hands-on training day. During the in-person clinical session, participants will perform live patient injections under expert faculty supervision.
This combined format provides participants with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience needed to safely and confidently incorporate aesthetic injectable treatments into clinical practice.
Course Objectives
At the end of the course, participants will be better able to:
- Target muscles, tissue layers, and vascular danger zones.
- Mechanisms, dilution techniques, and precise dosing guidelines.
- Patient evaluations, key contraindications, and complication management.
- Supervised injection practice on live patient cases.
- Practical workflows to implement aesthetic procedures successfully

- Participant must achieve a passing score 70% or above to move forward with completing the patient care portion of the course.

Cancellation and Credit Policy
Registrants will receive immediate access to the online course materials upon registration, therefore, cancellation will not qualify for monetary refund. Participants will receive a credit to apply towards future MFAA course date.
