GSDM Welcomes Moaz Zanbarakji

Moaz Zanbarakji

Moaz Zanbarakji joins the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) as a Research Dental Assistant in the Office of Global and Population Health. He began on August 15, 2016.

Prior to coming to GSDM, Zanbarakji worked in a private dental practice in Waltham, Massachusetts. There, he was responsible for taking digital and traditional impressions, pouring models, making retainers, and fabricating temporary crowns and bridges. He received his B.S. in Dental Surgery from the International University for Science and Technology (IUST) in Syria in 2013.

In his position at GSDM, Zanbarakji will promote oral health education in Boston Public Schools, perform dental assisting duties at the Chelsea School Dental Center and other public schools in the greater Boston area. In the future, Zanbarakji plans on attending the Advanced Standing DMD program at GSDM in hopes of eventually becoming an oral & maxillofacial surgeon.
