GSDM Community Listens to “Visions of America”

pops-2012Sixty-one members of the GSDM community attended the 98th Annual BU Night at the Pops at Symphony Hall on Saturday, May 19. This annual event is one of the University’s oldest traditions, taking place during Commencement weekend for graduates and guests to experience a slice of Boston culture.

This year’s Pops theme was Visions of America and guests enjoyed music conducted by Keith Lockhart. Also in attendance was special guest and BU College of Arts & Sciences commencement speaker Leonard Nimoy—more commonly known as “Mr. Spock” from the popular television show Star Trek. Mr. Nimoy was presented with an honorary degree at the All-University Commencement on Sunday, May 20, 2012.
