Alumni Spotlight: Dennis Jodoin DMD 95 PERIO 98 Joins Boston University Alumni Council
Dennis Jodoin DMD 95 PERIO 98 was recently selected as a new member of the Boston University Alumni Council, a leadership group that represents alumni interests to the Boston University Alumni Association. The volunteer board is made up of alumni representatives of multiple Boston University schools and colleges who are leaders in their careers, communities, and involvement with their alma mater.
Jodoin said he is looking forward to being an active member with the BUAC, connecting the Boston University Medical Campus to peers on the Charles River Campus.
“It’s good that the dental school can have a forum within the university,” Jodoin said. “It’s exciting to learn more about what’s going on at the Charles River Campus and seeing the progress the school’s made over the last 30 years since I’ve graduated.”
As a GSDM Alumni Board member since 2022 and current secretary, Jodoin is now planning to use his experience on improving alumni engagement to help the greater University community. His goals include reviving and forming new alumni chapters, in addition to learning new fundraising techniques.
“The GSDM Alumni Board has evolved rapidly in the last few years,” Jodoin said. “I want to bring that [positive momentum] to the Charles River Campus and the BUAC.”
