Many Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) alumni attended the annual Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) and Postgraduate Operative and Esthetic Dentistry (PGOE) Dinner and Continuing Education Lecture at the Metcalf Trustee Ballroom in the Questrom School of Business on Thursday, June 16, 2016.

“We were very pleased with the attendance. We have a very loyal alumni who are appreciative of what the program has done for them and the opportunities it has created for them. We continue to increase the number of participants in this alumni event, some of them for their first time, creating a memorable impression,” said Dr. John Cassis, Director of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in General Dentistry.

Two continuing education lectures were delivered by Dr. Ben Miraglia, who has been providing Invisalign with a comprehensive care philosophy for the last ten years.

In his first lecture, which began at 4 p.m., Dr. Miraglia focused on how to detect Invisalign cases. In his second lecture, which began at 7:30 p.m., Dr. Miraglia focused on developing treatment plans for Invisalign patients.

In between Dr. Miraglia’s lectures, a cocktail hour and dinner took place at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.  respectively. Alumni reconnected with each other and learned about new developments in the AEGD program.
