GSDM Community Shows Creative Side

Several students and staff members from GSDM submitted their work to the 22nd Annual Art Days, held March 26 and 27. All students, faculty, and staff of the BU Medical Campus were encouraged to submit their artwork of any medium, which was displayed in a gallery, set up in the Hiebert Lounge. Art Days was begun by former BUSM Dean and BU Past President Aram Chobanian to foster the support and growth of the creative arts at BUMC. It has been very successful and has shown a wide variety of work through the years. The exhibition was mounted by the Creative Arts Society and this year’s theme was “violence,” however artwork based on any topic was included.

Art was submitted by the following members of the GSDM community: Michelle Dube DMD 15, Antonio Maceda DMD 15, Pouyan Shahrokh DMD 13, Christian Peralta DMD 13, Ibtyhal Al-Amoudi PEDO 12, Dhwani Upadhyay DMD 12, Molecular & Cell Biology Operations Manager Dorothea Abbott, Manager of Patient Relations & Clinical Instructor Dr. Spandana Arvapalli, and Assistant Director of Publications & Media Relations Jackie Rubin.
