Witty Reception Honors Endodontic Graduates

A reception was held to honor the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Endodontics Class of 2011 at the Omni Parker House on May 19. A record number—151—of soon-to-be graduates, their families and friends, and faculty and staff gathered together to celebrate the culmination of several years of hard work and postdoctoral study.
Director ad interim of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Endodontics Dr. Mani Moulazadeh, along with Dean Jeffrey W. Hutter, and Sophia Lalani ENDO 11 presented congratulatory remarks.
Dr. Moulazadeh announced each of the residents in attendance, adding personal remarks during each introduction, which elicited a great deal of laughter from the crowd. He also announced each of the graduating residents’ future plans and said, "I’m very pleased to have been a part of your education here at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine and on behalf of all the faculty and staff of the Advanced Specialty Program in Endodontics, I wish you continued success in your future professional endeavors."
He encouraged the residents to consider donating a portion of their time to teaching and staying connected to education and academics. Adding, “For me personally, staying on as faculty has helped me to excel, both clinically and intellectually, in my career. I guarantee you will benefit in the same way.”
