GSDM Community Enjoys One of BU’s Oldest Traditions

Seventy-four members of the GSDM community attended the 97th Annual BU Night at the Pops at Symphony Hall on Saturday, May 21.

BU Night at the Pops is one of the University’s oldest traditions. The evening annually takes place during Commencement weekend and encourages graduates and their guests to experience one of Boston’s greatest cultural offerings.

This year guests enjoyed the music of Mardi Gras in New Orleans and Rio de Janeiro with conductor Keith Lockhart and the Dukes of Dixieland joining Boston Symphony Orchestra. Selections included “Carnival Overture”, “Theme from Black Orpheus”, and “Brazil”.
