Dedicated Employees of GSDM Honored by University for 10 Years of Service

In a luncheon held on Monday, March 21, in Metcalf Hall at the George Sherman Union, employees from GSDM were recognized for 10 years of service.
“The 10 Year Service Recognition Luncheon was a very nice event honoring the many individuals who, collectively through their many years of service, have contributed to the success of the University,” said attendee and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Cataldo Leone. “GSDM was well represented by having 15 individuals recognized for a decade of loyal service. We are fortunate to have so many dedicated folks here at the Dental School.”
Honored staff included: Clinical Assistant Maria Lopes, Clinic Coordinator Roslyn George, Clinical Assistant Rebecca Johnson, Sterilization Assistant Maria Mejia, Administrative Coordinator Patti Gibbs, Dispensary Assistant Java Norman, Administrative Assistant Alicia Ruff, Clinical Assistant Marilyn Clarke, and Endodontic Clinic Coordinator Edlira Kerthi.
Honored faculty included: Chair of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Associate Dean for Hospital Affairs Dr. Pushkar Mehra, Clinical Assistant Professor in the Dental Health Center Rosario Alvarez, Clinical Instructor of Pediatric Dentistry Dr. Maria Segura, Clinical Assistant Professor of General Dentistry Dr. David Gabelman, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry Dr. Jennifer Soncini.
"I am pleased to see so many individuals from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine honored at this luncheon,” said Dean Jeffrey W. Hutter. “Over the last ten years these honorees have contributed so much to the School, and on behalf of the entire GSDM community I thank them."
