ADA Meeting in Orlando Draws in GSDM Alumni

Many members of the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine community attended the 2010 American Dental Association (ADA) Annual Session, held October 9-12 in Orlando, Florida.
During the Session Dean Jeffrey W. Hutter and his wife Kathy hosted a reception for alumni and guests at the Peabody Orlando. Fifty-five alums gathered at the reception to reconnect with one another and with the various representatives of the School that were there. In addition to hosts Dean and Mrs. Hutter, Alumni Board President Tina Valades DMD 84 and Assistant Dean of Development & Alumni Relations Kevin Holland both attended.
"It is an exciting time to be an alumni of the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine," said Dr. Valades. "The Alumni Association and Dean Hutter are creating a professional network that will allow our alumni to connect with the school and each other to further enhance their professional and personal lives. Our goal is to reach out to all of our alumni."
"It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces at this year’s ADA reception," said Dean Hutter. "I’d like to thank everyone who attended and I encourage alums who weren’t able to make it, to reconnect with us at another alumni event soon, perhaps the upcoming 2010 Alumni Weekend, October 29 to 31."
Photos from the reception are available on the GSDM flickr account and also on the Facebook page.
