AAWD Members Enjoy Social Event at Brookline’s Clayroom

The Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) branch of the American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD) gathered to paint festive holiday gifts at the Clayroom in Brookline, Massachusetts on December 9. Chapter members enjoyed chatting, sharing snacks, and admiring each other’s art. This holiday social event was a perfect study break during finals week.

“It was refreshing and fun to use our artistic abilities outside of the Dental School,” said Alexandra Antonescu DMD 11.

Looking ahead, BU AAWD members will volunteer at a Rosie’s Place Childworks event on February 18. The student organization currently has approximately 25 members. If anyone would like more information about this organization, contact Julie King DMD 11 at jdking@bu.edu.
