ASDA Returns from Regional Meeting Energized

Six members of the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) chapter of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA), along with ASDA Faculty Advisor Dr. Joseph Calabrese, attended the ASDA Eastern Regional Meeting at the Marriott Hartford Downtown in Hartford, Connecticut from September 25 to 27.

The goals of this regional meeting were to provide leadership training, enhance chapter administration skills, and educate attendees on current issues confronting the field of dentistry.

"This meeting was great for training the new leadership and exchanging ideas with other ASDA chapters in our region," said Derrick Call DMD 12. "We came back with a lot of new ways to make our chapter even better!"

ASDA District 1 Trustee Megan Ryan DMD 10 helped to organize and run the meeting. Her role as Trustee also requires her to represent GSDM, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine at a national level.
