GSDM Hosts Foundations in Craniomaxillofacial Surgery

The Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery hosted the Foundations in Craniomaxillofacial Surgery seminar sponsored by Stryker on March 28. This unique training course utilized lectures and hands-on demonstrations to provide an overview of contemporary management of facial trauma patients including foundational techniques and surgical approaches for craniomaxillofacial rigid fixation.

 The course was limited to approximately 40 participants and was attended by residents from various Universities throughout the Northeast. Lecturers included faculty and attending staff from the Departments of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at GSDM and Boston University Medical School as well as Tufts University.
