BUVSDA Celebrates at TET In Boston Festival

The Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM) chapter of the Vietnamese Student Dental Association (VSDA) participated in the Tet In Boston Festival on Saturday, January 24 alongside students from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and The Forsyth Institute. The festival is dedicated to promoting and preserving Vietnamese culture through the celebration of Tet, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year.
The festivities were held at the Harbor Middle School in Dorchester, Massachusetts. VSDA volunteers along with BUGSDM Oral Health Promotion Coordinator Kathy Lituri and Director of Minority Affairs Dr. Gregory Stoute, contributed to the achievement of Tet In Boston’s education, social, and economic goals, by providing dental screenings and oral health material to participants.
