Team BMC Seeks Marathon Runners

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is looking for runners from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM) to join their 2009 Boston Marathon team. This is Team BMC‘s fifth year participating in the event. Last year the team was comprised of 35 runners who raised $175,000, more money per runner than ever before, to support programs and clinics at BMC.

This year Team BMC’s goal is to have 50 runners. Runners receive their marathon number through BMC and have the opportunity to train with the team through FitCorp, as well as receiving Team BMC running apparel and emails with valuable tips and ideas.

Runners can be veterans or first-time participants and in the past have come from all over the Boston area, not just from BMC and it’s affiliates. Team BMC is accepting applications on a rolling basis until December 15. Contact Kayla Rogers at 86140 with further questions.
