Molar Rollers Pedal in Memory of Dean Spencer N. Frankl

On August 2 and 3, the Molar Roller Cycling team will pedal more than 200 miles as part of the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) to benefit cancer research through the Jimmy Fund and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI). According to the annual bike-a-thon’s website, the goal of PMC is to is to raise money to provide Dana-Farber’s doctors and researchers the necessary resources to discover cures for all cancers.
All Molar Roller fundraising efforts will be donated in memory of the late Dean Spencer N. Frankl to DFCI for brain tumor research under the direction of Dr. Patrick Wen.
Leading the Molar Roller Cycling team is Bob Moreau DMD 92. "Most of the riders on the Molar Roller team are Boston University alums or colleagues of Dr. Frankl’s in some way," said Dr. Moreau. "We all wanted to ride in memory of him because of how much he meant to us as a mentor and colleague. It’s our way of saying thanks."
