Alumni and Future DMDs Meet at Ice Cream Social

Incoming DMD and AS students kicked off orientation week July 30 at an ice cream social in Hiebert Lounge. The Alumni Association presented the event with a donation from Craig Allen DMD 95 and assistance from the Alumni Office and Office of Admissions and Student Services.

Students heard from Senior Associate Dean Dr. Jeffrey Hutter and Dr. Joseph Calabrese DMD 91 AEGD 92 about the opportunities that await them at BUSDM. Dr. Allen reminisced about his good times at the school, which includes meeting fellow DMD 95 graduate and wife Nicole Paquette-Allen. The Allens attended the social with their son David and Nicole’s brother David Paquette, a 1998 DMD graduate.
