EXCEL Students Get a Head Start on DMD Coursework

BUSDM welcomed 37 students to the school’s Experiential Center for Excellence in Learning (EXCEL) program July 2.

Students in the three-week program include those entering the school’s DMD program July 30, and college and Graduate Medical Sciences students interested in pursuing careers in dentistry.

Students attended a dinner in their honor at the George Sherman Union Monday before starting classes July 3. Other scheduled events include a luncheon July 6 and bowling at Lucky Strike Lanes July 11 sponsored by BUSDM’s Alumni Association.

The EXCEL program ends July 25.
