Dr. Dana Graves Adds Two NIH Grants to Roster

At a time when national research funding has slowed, Dr. Dana Graves, professor in the Department of Periodontology and Oral Biology, is helping to build BUSDM’s body of research.

Graves will receive National Institutes of Health funding for two new Research Project (R01) grants: "Diabetes-enhanced Experimental Periodontitis" and "Recognition of Commensal and Pathogenic Bacteria by Oral Epithelium."

Graves manages an additional grant, "Bone-Derived Cells Produce a Chemotactic Factor."
