Graves Named JDR Associate Editor

American and International Association of Dental Research (AADR/IADR) boards this week appointed Dr. Dana Graves, BUSDM professor of periodontology and oral biology, associate editor of the Journal of Dental Research (JDR). In this role, he will be responsible for the Journal’s Critical Reviews in Oral Biology & Medicine (CROBM) section.

"My goals for CROBM are to maintain the high standards achieved in previous years and widen the readership," said Graves. "One approach will be to present articles that are linked so the first presents an overview of general biomedical interest while a companion article focuses on an aspect that is particularly important for oral biology and dentistry."

Graves was chosen from an international group of potential candidates to take over for former CROBM editor Olav Alvares. "We warmly welcome Dana Graves as his successor to continue and further evolve this section of the Journal," said JDR Editor Anthony
J. Smith.

Graves has previously served on the CROBM editorial advisory board and JDR editorial board.
