Michele Schiele
Senior Vice President, Advancement

Hired by Boston University President Melissa Gilliam, Michele Schiele brings a wealth of experience to her leadership of our team. Before joining BU, she served as deputy vice president and campaign director at Stanford University, where she played a key role in securing over $1.4 billion annually in philanthropic support. Michele’s leadership experience also includes multiple senior positions at the University of Chicago.

Michele believes deeply that “a university is only as strong as its communities,” emphasizing the vital role alumni play in helping universities make meaningful contributions to society.
