Emil is a mechanical engineer from Connecticut studying CubeSat instrument technology for space physics with Professor Brian Walsh. Presently, he is working on a radiation micro-dosimeter for the CuPID CubeSat Observatory with a plan of using this palm sized instrument to study the processes by which trapped Van Allen Radiation Belt particles are lost. Outside of the lab, Emil likes to ski in the winter and fish in the summer.
Research Interests: CubeSat technology, atmospheric radiation and solar-wind magnetosphere coupling
