Research Interests: Space hardware and vacuum system specialist working on the development of soft X-ray and ultra-violet instruments. His soft X-ray imaging work aims to understand the dynamics of Earth’s magnetopause and it’s interactions with the solar wind using micro-pore optics. He was an engineer for the soft X-ray imaging missions, CuPID (cubesat, launch 2021) and LEXI (lunar telescope, launch 2024). Engineering efforts with ultra-violet light, specifically hydrogen Lyman-alpha, are developing a spectrograph to measure the flows of interplanetary hydrogen.
