Clara Narvaez

I am interested in the Martian ionosphere. To pursue this topic, I work with data from different Mars missions, including NASA’s Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN (MAVEN) and Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO), and ESA’s Mars Express (MEX) to look at ionospheric changes, variability and total electron content. I assist with the development and maintenance of MIRI (Mars Initial Reference Ionosphere). I am also member of the MAVEN science team. In addition, I support undergraduate work-study students who are part of our research team.

Research Interests: Planetary ionospheres, ionospheric structure and variability.
