Senbei Du joined CSP and the SHIELD DRIVE Science Center in August 2023 with a background in numerical simulations of space and astrophysical plasmas. He is curious about various physical processes throughout the heliosphere and in the universe, such as magnetic reconnection and turbulence. He is currently working on projects related to the energization of particles in the outer heliosphere, as motivated by observations of charged particles by the Voyagers and neutral atom by the Interstellar Boundary Explorer (IBEX) and Cassini.
