You may have noticed that we often refer to our services as an "Interdenominational Protestant" service. This means that our worship services incorporate traditions, prayers, hymns and hymn-tunes from many protestant denominations and our worship staff is made up of chaplains and leaders from multiple denominations. Currently, our staff is made up of a United Methodist Elder, an Episcopal Priest, a Lutheran pastor, and a Presbyterian minister.

Roman Catholic Masses are also held on Sundays in the chapel sanctuary under the leadership of the University's Catholic Chaplain, Fr. Kevin Staley-Joyce.

Yes! Marsh Chapel & Religious Life is a department within Boston University. We oversee the university's religious and spiritual life student groups, certify campus ministers, assist students with pursuing accommodations for religious observances, offer programming to support student wellbeing, and provide pastoral and spiritual care for students, faculty, and staff. Senior members of our staff are on various boards and committees providing advice and direction to the university's leadership.

The chapel sanctuary is open for personal prayer and meditation every day from 8AM-10PM. Our main chapel office is open regularly, Monday through Thursday from 9AM to 5PM and on Sundays from 9AM-1PM throughout the year.

Yes! Parking is available on Sundays year round.

This QR Code allows for temporary parking access to and from the CAS Lot (Lot J),  located at 240 Bay State Road.  Parking is valid ONLY for those attending the 11:00 am Sunday Worship Service with entrance permitted beginning at 8:30 a.m.  All vehicles must exit by 1:30 p.m. Parking outside of these hours may result in your vehicle being towed at your own expense.
