Service of Celebration

We are thrilled to welcome The Rev. Raphael Warnock, PhD, Senior Pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA, and United State Senator from Georgia as our guest preacher for our Service of Celebration on November 16th! Following the service, Reverend Warnock will hold a signing of his books; A Way Out of No Way (2022), Put Your Shoes On & Get Ready! (2023), and We’re in This Together: Leo’s Lunch Box (2025).

You can get your copy of one or all of his books from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, The Frugal Bookstore, or your favorite bookstore. A limited number of copies of each of his four books will be available for purchase on the day of the service.

We are currently expecting a very large crowd for this event. An overflow auditorium will be available for all those who do not make it into the main chapel. Those seated in the overflow space will still be permitted to queue for the book signing following the service.

10:30 AM  Doors to the Chapel Sanctuary open to the public

11:00 AM  Worship service with special music

12:15 PM  Raphael G. Warnock book signing

1:15 PM  Book signing ends

Parking & Transit

Due to the expected size of this event, attendees are encouraged to utilize public transportation if possible. Marsh Chapel is located at the Boston University Central stop of the MBTA Green Line B and on the MBTA 57 Bus route. Plan your trip using the MBTA’s Trip Planner.

For those who choose to drive, free parking will be available in Boston University parking lots from 10:00am until 1:30pm using the QR code below. All vehicles must evacuate BU parking lots by 2PM or you may be subject to parking fees or towing.

The closest parking lots to Marsh Chapel are located at 240 Bay State Road (Lot J) and 700 Commonwealth Avenue (Warren Towers- enter on Hinsdale Mall).

This QR Code allows for temporary parking access to and from the CAS Lot (Lot J),  located at 240 Bay State Road.  Parking is valid ONLY for those attending the 11:00 am Sunday Worship Service with entrance permitted beginning at 8:30 am.  All vehicles must exit by 1:30 pm. Parking outside of these hours may result in your vehicle being towed at your own expense.
