Rev. Jonathan Byung Hoon Lee

The Reverend Jonathan Byung Hoon Lee serves as Marsh Chapel & Religious Life’s Associate Chaplain for Student Outreach. Whether it involves setting up for our weekly Monday night Community Dinners, communicating with BU’s various student-led religious life groups, or just grabbing a coffee with a student, Jonathan works to promote and support Marsh Chapel’s various worship, ministry, and wellbeing programs for all students at Boston University.

Originally from Charlotte, NC, Jonathan joined Boston University and Marsh Chapel in Spring 2023. Jonathan is a graduate of Davidson College (B.A. Environmental Studies, 2018) and Yale Divinity School (Master of Divinity, 2022). Rev. Jonathan received his  ordination as a minister (teaching elder) of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in Spring 2026.
