Silvia Alberta

Silvia joined Boston University in January 2022 as an Assistant Director of Special Projects and was promoted to Associate Director, IT Audit & Special Projects in April 2023. Silvia collaborates in the ERM University Program and leads the IT audit function to help the institution to enhance and protect organizational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance and advice. Prior to joining BU, Silvia served as the Enterprise Risk Manager at Riverstone Resources LLC. She also spent 14 years at Telecom Italia Group where she held multiple roles, including Head of Internal Audit and Compliance. Silvia worked previously in consulting at Ernst & Young LLP. Silvia interests include volunteering, travelling and food, not just Italian!
