Richard Kotowicz

Richard took on the role of Assistant Director, Audit & Advisory Services in 2018, but has been a member of Internal Audit & Advisory Services since joining in 2011. In his current role, Richard leads the University’s audit function to help the University accomplish its objectives through a systematic, disciplined and collaborative approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and governance processes. In his time at the University, he has worked on a number of audit and advisory projects to help improve processes and controls for various functions within the University, and has been successful in developing the department’s construction audit program. Richard’s prior roles at the University include Staff Auditor and Senior Associate within Internal Audit & Advisory Services and he was previously a Senior Auditor at Deloitte and Touche LLP. Since Richard is British, his interests naturally include soccer and music.
