Dave Hruban

Dave joined Internal Audit & Advisory Services in October of 2019 as the Construction Audit Manager. In his role, Dave facilitates the University’s Construction Audit program working independently on construction audits as well as partnering with third party auditors on larger construction projects. Dave has been at BU since 2009 serving first as a Cadre in the Army ROTC program and later as the Manager of Administration for the Financial Affairs unit and Chief of Staff to the SVP, CFO & Treasurer. Prior to joining BU, Dave served twenty years on active duty in the United States Army as an Indirect Fire Infantryman and deployed overseas numerous times to countries including Somalia, Germany, Macedonia, Kosovo, Slovakia, Afghanistan and Iraq. Dave is also the President of the Military Historical Society of Massachusetts, the Quartermaster for his town’s VFW, and the Chair of his town’s Patriotic Observance Committee.
