Professor of International Relations and Sociology Susan Eckstein has been awarded the prestigious John Simons Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship for her continuing research on “Cuban immigration exceptionalism.”
The International Society for Political Psychology’s Harold Lasswell Award is a lifetime achievement award for “distinguished scientific contributions in the field of political psychology.”
Carrie Preston, associate professor of English and director of the Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality Studies (WGS) program, recently won BU’s 2015 United Methodist Church Scholar/Teacher of the Year Award.
At this year’s Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, Stephanie Brownell (GRS’15) received the National Ten-Minute Play Award, Abbey Fenbert (GRS’15) was awarded the Mark Twain Comedy Writing Award, and alumni Michael Parsons (GRS’12) and Steven Barkhimer (GRS’08) also won awards for their plays.
