Existentialism with Professor Paul Katsafanas sparked my love for philosophy and introduced me to Friedrich Nietzsche, whose writings helped me overcome a lot of personal struggles and helped me develop my own life philosophy and shaped the way I view life.
What is your favorite BU tradition? Why?
My favorite BU tradition is Public Open Night at the Observatory because being able to say that I saw planet Mars is pretty cool.
What has surprised you about your time at BU?
I’m surprised at how innovative and creative students are—everyone is doing really cool things and it’s very inspiring to learn what everyone is up to.
How have you changed/ grown as an individual since arriving at BU?
As a student, I have found my love for the law and my future calling. I now feel 100% confident in pursuing a law degree. As a human being, I’ve learned to be really present on a daily basis while understanding the driving forces behind my thoughts and actions. I am fully in control of my life and it is a great feeling.
What are your plans for the future?
I will be moving to Austin, TX to work, attending law school in 1 to 2 years, and becoming a juvenile lawyer and judge one day. And lots of running!
